Geraldine has been of great help on my journey. I started off not feeling very confident in my ability to write, but I've improved quite a bit. I still have some work left to do, but I can see the progress.
My vocabulary as well as the use of words is much better than it used to be. She also gave me some good homework to help me to keep the progress going in between the sessions. One of the weaknesses we've been able to identify for me has been grammar. Grammatical rules and structures. She's been great at helping me explain those and giving me the practices I need to make them second nature in my daily use of the German language.
I've also gotten a lot more confident in my ability to speak the German language, since starting to work with her.”

I needed help with understanding Swiss German but practicing to speak in German, and she was super willing to assist with both, always giving me practice for both in every lesson. I also needed specific help with very technical terms in the realm of online banking/customer service, and Geraldine was very thoughtful, bringing different study materials into each lesson including important vocabulary words, real-life examples she found on the internet, sentence examples, and much more. I immensely appreciate her preparation and dedication, you can tell she really cares and wants to help. She is also very enthusiastic and motivational, and ensures that what she is teaching is making sense and sinking in.

Geraldine è un’insegnante eccezionale! Rende ogni lezione piacevole e coinvolgente. Al momento ne ho fatte solo 5 con lei, ma credo di aver già imparato tantissimo. Apprezzo in particolare il suo metodo di insegnamento, che trovo perfetto per il mio stile di apprendimento. Il tutto viene spiegato e schematizzato con chiarezza, spesso usando i colori: per me, che ho un approccio visivo allo studio, è l’ideale. A fine lezione rivediamo quanto appena imparato, così da fissare subito vocaboli ed espressioni nuove! Credo sia una metodologia davvero efficace. Posso inoltre confermare che Geraldine è perfetta anche per chi parte da zero: io sono un livello A1, ma riusciamo tranquillamente a comunicare in inglese, e lei è sempre molto paziente. Se vede che qualcosa non è chiaro, rallenta e si assicura che io abbia capito prima di proseguire. Consigliatissima a chiunque voglia imparare il tedesco o lo svizzero tedesco in modo piacevole ma davvero produttivo! E soprattutto senza stress :)
